These Terms of Use govern access to and use of Escondido Pages. By clicking “I Agree & Enter,” or by continuing to use the site after acceptance, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
1. Purpose of the Directory
Escondido Pages is an independent local business directory whose purpose is to identify, organize, classify, and present information about businesses and organizations associated with Escondido, California. The directory has been developed through substantial human research, curation, classification, selection, organization, design, and editorial effort, with assistance from modern software, automated systems, and artificial-intelligence tools.
2. Accuracy, Verification, and No Reliance
Business names, categories, addresses, telephone numbers, hours, services, prices, availability, website links, social-media information, map locations, and other information may come from public sources, business websites, third-party services, user-submitted material, automated processing, or AI-assisted research. Information can change without notice and may contain omissions or errors.

Unless expressly stated, Escondido Pages is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or acting as an agent for any listed business. Inclusion or placement in the directory does not constitute a recommendation, endorsement, certification, or warranty concerning that business.
4. Third-Party Rights and Content
Business names, trade names, trademarks, service marks, logos, photographs, websites, social-media content, embedded content, and other third-party materials remain the property of their respective owners. Their display or linking is for identification, reference, and directory functionality and does not transfer ownership to Escondido Pages.
5. Escondido Pages Original Work
Subject to third-party rights and facts that are not protectable by law, Escondido Pages reserves all rights available under applicable law in its original taxonomy and Business Type classification system; selection, coordination and arrangement of listings; original descriptions and written content; software code; database structure; visual presentation; graphics; page design; and other original human-authored material.
6. Automated Scraping and Bulk Extraction
Except as expressly permitted by applicable law or authorized in writing by Escondido Pages, you may not use bots, crawlers, scripts, automated agents, data-mining systems, or similar methods to systematically scrape, harvest, download, mirror, republish, resell, or extract substantial portions of the directory or to create a competing or substitute directory/database. Ordinary indexing by legitimate search engines that respects applicable technical instructions and law is not prohibited by this paragraph.
This restriction does not claim ownership of unprotectable facts or third-party content. Escondido Pages reserves the right to enforce contractual, copyright, technological, and other rights that are actually available under applicable law.
7. Acceptable Use
- Do not interfere with the operation, availability, security, or integrity of the site.
- Do not attempt to bypass technical limits, access non-public systems or data, or use the site for unlawful activity.
- Do not misrepresent Escondido Pages content as your own or imply an affiliation that does not exist.
8. Third-Party Websites, Maps, and Embedded Services
The site may link to or display third-party websites, maps, social-media services, or other external content. Escondido Pages does not control those services and is not responsible for their content, availability, security, privacy practices, transactions, or changes. Use of third-party services is subject to their own terms and policies.

11. Corrections and Business Information
Businesses and users are encouraged to report material inaccuracies, request listing updates, or raise ownership or takedown concerns by emailing escondidopages@gmail.com. A correction request does not itself establish ownership of a listing or require removal of accurate public factual information, but reasonable requests may be reviewed and addressed.
12. Changes to the Site or Terms
Escondido Pages may update, reorganize, suspend, or discontinue features and may revise these Terms. When a materially revised Terms version is published, the site may ask users to accept the new version again.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except to the extent another law must apply. Any venue or forum provision is subject to rights that cannot legally be waived.
